Our goal is to help you increase your psychological and general well-being using the latest Neuroscience findings and evidence-based emotional and mental health-promoting practices.

Our programs and coaching sessions are tailored to each particular case using tools from positive psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and self-compassion, and healthy lifestyle interventions.

Who is behind EQness

Hi, there, my name is Olga-Lucia, I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist with a Master’s degree in Psychopathology, Clinical Intervention and Health, and a specialization in emotional education. I am also  a mindfulness teacher and a dancer and of course a life coach.

 

I combine all my knowledge and skills I create personalized programs to support people’s wellbeing.

ACT Coaching and Mindfulness

My coaching style is very practical and it is primarily based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of therapy/training that has proven to support the development of psychological flexibility and promote positive behavioral changes, both needed to achieve the mental and emotional wellbeing that will lead to a meaningful, enjoyable and healthy life. I love ACT because apart from being a very practical and simple intervention, it also involves mindfulness and self-compassion practices, which are powerful techniques known to improve subjective well-being, increase psychological health and flexibility and reduce emotional reactivity. 

Being a teacher of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion I have experienced these benefits at the personal level and with my students, which make ACT even more compelling.

My training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy includes:

  • ACT for Depression and Anxiety Disorders
  • ACT as a Brief Intervention (Focused ACT)
  • ACT for Trauma
  • ACT for Grief and Loss

My training in Mindfulness includes:

  • Qualified teacher of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion (MSC)
  • Certified teacher of mindful eating (Mindful Based-Eating Awareness program: MB-EAT)
