Who is behind EQness?
Hi, there, my name is Olga-Lucia Gamboa Arana, I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist , an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy coach, a mindfulness teacher and a dancer.
I started as a physicist who was really interested in understanding human emotions and their consequences. Why? because the laws of physics and the laws of human mind and heart are so different! That got me hooked and drove me to get a PhD in Neuroscience, study Psychology, get a degree in emotional education and stress management, become a certified teacher of the mindfulness eating program (MB_EAT) and qualified as a teacher of Mindfulness and Self Compassion (MSC) and I already mentioned, I also became a coach. Currently, I am finalizing my master’s degree in Psychopathology, Clinical intervention and Health.
Oh wow, It looks like so much learning, but that is a lot of fun!
Why ACT coaching?
My coaching is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of therapy/training that has shown to be exceptional to develop psychological flexibility and promote positive behavioral changes, both needed to have mental, and emotional wellbeing and of course a meaningful, enjoyable and healthy life.

What if I fall? by Erin Hanson

What if you fly?”
Understanding and Acceptance

Be gentle with yourself, learn to love yourself, to forgive yourself, for only as we have the right attitude toward ourselves can we have the right attitude toward others”- Wilfred Peterson
