During this week we will practice mindfulness for urges or cravings. Two exercises are offered:
1) Urge-surfing practice
2) 3Ds to deal with urges
The first exercise ‘Urge – Surfing’ can be done at any time, keeping in mind that the more you practice the better you will get at surfing your urges.
The second exercise should be done in advance as it requires planning.
Ps: You can do urge-surfing practice the whole week or you can alternate it with mindful breathing.
Practice for 6 days and rest one, or from Monday to Friday and rest the weekend. Resting does not mean not to practice mindfulness but to use those day to explore other ways to be mindful in a more creative way.
